Overview
Learn how to cook classic Italian dishes in the heart of Trastevere, an authentic Rome neighborhood. After a market visit to Campo de' Fiori to buy ingredients, head to a private apartment for your class. With the guidance of one of our professional and qualified Chefs, you’ll make three types of pasta for a total of 5 courses that can include antipasto, a ci meat course and dessert . The amount of courses will depend on what we choose to do once at the market the Finish with a glass of Italian wine and tuck in to your meal with the rest of your group. Numbers are limited to 10 people for a small-group experience.

- We need a total of 6 participants to start a class. If we don’t reach the goal we’ll suggest an other date or the class could be canceled

Chef Paula was just amazing. We did so much in 4.5hours. Highly recommend this excursion. She layer out the basics of pasta and sauce making. Just a total dream come true.

This experience was fantastic. Paola is such a great teacher and professional chef and taught us many techniques. I run a boutique lodge and cook dinner for guests so already make pasta but I learned new ways to do this and learned to make a number of new sauces which I will add to my menu. I attended with 3 family members who haven't made pasta before and they all came away with new skills and loved it. So for the self-taught and novice, this course is ideal. If you only do 1 cooking class, this is the one.

I’ve taken many cooking classes. This is at the top regarding a full cultural and culinary experience. Beginning at the sense awakening introduction at the Roman street market, we then strolled to his well appointed and comfortable kitchen classroom in the round. Cesar was the perfect balance of teacher and entertainer, including each one of us in the process of enlightenment and creating a great four course meal. By the end, our group became a team working toward a common purpose of fun and food. I also marveled at the way Cesar was sensitive to the many food allergies in the group, giving them an equal experience. At the end we didn’t want to get up to the table. I believe every trip back to Rome will include time at this kitchen for a class, a glass, much laughter and a meal!

This was one of my favorite experiences in Rome. I have been to Italy before, but on this current trip we booked this Chef in a day and it was wonderful. Chef Federico Alessandri and Chef Paola were so personable and great instructors. We started at Campo de' Fiori market; which was a great immersive experience in itself. They shared lots of tips and tricks and made the whole adventure very fun and enjoyable. Completely recommend if you are an advanced home cook looking for new techniques and recipes to add to your arsenal.
