- The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- To get inside the monuments it used group ticket and not individual one. It cannot be asked just the ticket entrance.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Child discount is applied only with a valid ID card
- Security checkpoint and the payload capacity might delays the access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
- The activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational resons
- For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened
- To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray
- Forbidden objects inside the monumets: bottles and glasses containers, alcholic beverages and aerosols, backpacks, camping, bulky bags and luggage / trolley
- Can be introduced medium and small size backpacks to shoulder, which must be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by the Urbe Security Institute, responsible for the entrance inspection
- Please notice that the Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund
- Note: tour will not operate on religious holidays
- Activity not recommended for people with motor lag
- No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
- For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

- Every refund request MUST be done within and not later than 48 hours from the day of the tour

Our fully customized 5-hour one-day guided tour of the Colosseum, Vatican Museum, and Sistine Chapel was arranged by the live English-speaking expert tour guide, Ricardo. With exclusive skip-the-line entrance tickets, we thoroughly enjoyed this time-saving and action-packed trip to the Eternal City. Our professional guide was also an expert art historian, who narrated the entire tour, as we visited the ancient amphitheater, and the Vatican Museum, along with the fabled ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Thanks to the priority and direct access that helped to avoid the long hours of waiting to watch the great Renaissance artworks in the Vatican. Certainly recommend Tour in the City and also Ricardo!

The trip to the colosseum was amazing. Eddie was a terrific guide. I hate to include him in a 1 star review. He was 5 stars. Unfortunately when we went to the Vatican portion of our tour, they left us with no tour and no tickets. It was my husband's bucket list trip and we will never see the Sistine chapel. Tour in the city really didn't care. We were just another tourist. Be warned, Tour in the City is not trustworthy. Book with someone else.

Both tours were great. Both tour guides were great. The only thing that was not great was the fact that there were two different tours with two different groups with a driver in between who was like "I'm just a driver - I have no information" - which we did not understand when we booked. This would have been fine if it had been explained to us in advance.

Colosseum:
- Tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, personable (sorry forgot his name, Sam?)
- Seeing the colosseum from inside is incredible & tour guide gave great historical background
- FYI does NOT include arena floor access
Vatican/Sistine Chapel:
- Tour guide (Margarita) is very knowledgable and passionate
- It was a very huge group, so difficult to manage and move together, but luckily the Vatican/Sistine Chapel was overall not very crowded that day
- Not the highlight of my trip, personally it was underwhelming, but still amazing to see and experience all of the history
Overall:
- Front of the line passes definitely worth while, especially since lines are longer for COVID vaccination/green pass requirements
- FYI does NOT include transport from Colosseum to Vatican; so plan accordingly for lunch/transportation (it was about a 45 min walk for us)--I think the Colosseum tour started at 11, ended around 1, and we had to check in for the Vatican tour by 3
- If you are younger or more of a solo/couple traveler, would recommend doing self-guided Roma passes (which can also include skip-the-line passes and some include transportation); these group tours are more for a 'mature' crowd who need more guidance so you spend more time waiting for people rather than going at your own pace
- I probably would have done without it if I could do it again, but the tours did a great job organizing & still helpful to just click/book and not have to think about anything
