Overview
Priviledge access to the Arena Floor of the Coliseum, enjoy a real journey through ancient Rome. You will visit the Colisseum, the Arena exclusive floor and proceed to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with entrance. You will tour with a dedicated guide in a sharing tour of about 25 average participants or less and access into the Colosseum through the Vip Gladiator's entrance so called because it was once of the access gladiators. Here, you will enjoy a spectacular view over the Arena and a panoramic view of the Dungeons from the Arena. This tour is offered in various languages so please make your language election. In the 3-hour tour you will also visit the Palatine Hill once the residential hills of the Roman emperors and the Roman Forum with the Temple of the Vestal virgins, the Curia and the Temple of Julius Caesar. Your guide will bring Ancient Roman times back alive!

- Please Note: to access the Colosseum you need to add in your reservation the exact name and last name of all participants in your group and children need to be specified. In case of mistake in writing your name and last name in your reservation, if the Colosseum tickets controllers deny the access due to the wrong name and last name we decline any responsibility and NO REFUND will be provided.

- The order of the visit of the itinerary might change
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please Note: In some areas the stroller must be carried by yourself due to architectural restrictions
- Please note that due to summer heatwaves the duration of the tour may vary slightly depending on the needs of the group.
- Please show up at least 10 minutes before the tour to do the check in
- Please note that you will be asked a full refundable 10 euros deposit at the meeting point in order to ensure all the radios are given back to the guide or our staff. Once you return the radios you will be refunded your 10 euros. If you don't give back the radios you will be charged 30 euros for each of them.
- Not allowed: Pets, weapons or sharp objects, oversized luggage, smoking, alcohol or drugs, sprays or aerosols, glassware, unaccompanied minors, electric wheelchairs
- The entrance fee to the archaeological sites is 17 Euros for adults (23 Euros for the arena option), accompanied by a booking fee of 2 Euros. The additional amount covers services provided by experienced licensed guides, audio devices, booking fees and other tourist services. The aim is to promote transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown.
- In summer time we suggest bringing a bottle of water. In summer time due to the heat the tour might last about 2 hours.
- Please be aware that to enter the Colosseum it is necessary to pass a metal detector security check.
- Please note: in case of late arrival we inform you that you will lose your tour and no refund will be given for no show or for late arrival
- In July and August, due to the heat, the duration of the tour is 2 hours.
- Meeting time is subject to change; if this occurs, you will receive a call or message from the activity provider. please provide your correct phone number and country code.
- ID mandatory. Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance.
- The full names of all the participants in the booking is needed, incomplete information on the booking cannot be guaranteed entrance.

Our guide Paulo was exceptional. He made history come alive and we learned more than we could've imagined. Going for the upgraded tour that takes you on the lower level is worth it. The meeting point is a bit tricky - it is in front of the church, not across the street or in the alley where the GPS takes you.

It was very interesting and we learned a lot, but the part of our trip to the arena floor was cancelled the day prior with very little explanation (though i did get a partial refund), and the tour started quite late and later we had to delay entering the colosseum to wait for someone else. In addition, we spent very little time in the Forum part of the tour. I understand slightly as it was hot and there was little shade, but it was still disappointing. It overall seemed poorly organized. Additionally, our guide was nice and knowledgeable, but walked very quickly in crowded areas, resulting in some members of the group occasionally being left behind until they could catch up.

We had a fantastic time. Amazing sights to see. Tour guide Giorgio was great. Very friendly and lots of fun! He included everyone and made everyone feel at ease. Lots of knowledge and fun interesting facts. Definitely would recommend it!

Seeing inside the colosseum was an amazing experience and would definitely go back. Our tour guide Marcius was the best one we could’ve gotten as he was so passionate about the history of the colosseum and the roman forum. 10/10 recommend for anyone interested to even see the outside of the colosseum

Booked Colosseum Tour with access to Gladiator Area through Get your Guide and 'Italy with Family' was the tour provider. Very disappointing as we understood very little of what guide said. Her name was Rita (if correct name given) and I asked her at the very beginning to speak slower but she just laughed and carried on, I again asked her to speak slower whilst at the Colosseum as I did not understand what she said and she then asked my friends if they understood and they said very little. She turned this around and put the blame on us and said if she spoke slower she would not be able to say half the things she wanted to tell us, but we left having understood hardly anything about the place other than what we saw. It would have been better just to have tickets to go in and not pay for a guided tour. We had visited the Vatican the previous day with a guided tour arranged through the official Vatican site and this was so much better with every word clearly understood.
