Avoid the standard tour and enjoy this special access experience to the greatest Roman ruins in the world. You'll enjoy restricted access to the Colosseum's arena floor and explore it's dungeons, where wild beast and gladiators were kept before bloody battles. Following the Colosseum you'll make your way to the neighbouring ruins, enjoying restricted access in Palatine Hill (Cesar's Palace) and the Roman Forum (Ancient City). You'll visit the most important ancient Roman temples and tombs, the Senate House, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and Julius Cesar's tomb. This easy paced tour includes a licensed tour guide providing fun, interesting, and relevant site information. Additionally, the tour includes skip-the-line tickets to enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator's gate. NOTE: - Due to new Colosseum rules, we cannot accept bookings within 7 days of tour departure - All guests must provide full names of participants at moment of booking and bring matching ID to the tour.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He had so much information to share. However, there are times that we felt super rushed. I also felt that we could’ve spent more time on the Palatine hill. If you want to learn a lot, this is the tour for you.
