The coliseum is amazing! The lines weren’t too long and we were able to navigate around the grounds on our own. We listened to an audio tour that took through the different levels and provided information regarding the specifics of the structure and its uses.

We had difficulty getting our tickets for entrance even though we had priority entrance. The workers there were very confused as to what to do since it was a free Sunday. After an hour we finally found a worker that helped us. Otherwise, amazing place. The Rick Stevens audio tour was excellent.
Stay Away: Issued Tickets not Honored

Please do not trust this Viator offering; they gave us bogus tickets. We paid double face ticket price to guarantee a skip-the-line experience on a particular date. It turns out that date is a free ticket date. When we presented our tickets from the tour operator, the venue rejected them, saying they should not have been issued. So the ticket issuers refunded the tour provider. And we ended up paying double for nothing, and no refund. We thought we had a reliable tour vendor in Viator, but instead we got pickpocketed digitally.
