- Please Note: to access the Colosseum you need to add in your reservation the exact name and last name of all participants in your group and children need to be specified. In case of mistake in writing your name and last name in your reservation, if the Colosseum tickets controllers deny the access due to the wrong name and last name we decline any responsibility and NO REFUND will be provided.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please be aware that to enter the Colosseum it is necessary to pass a metal detector security check; there may be some wait time to pass through security checks
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Please note: if you arrive late you might lose the entrance or a part of the tour
- Please note: the order of the itinerary might change. It is possible that you will visit first the Roman Forum and then the Colosseum
- Please note that due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not suitable for any persons with disabilities.
- Small group tour average 26 people (maximum 28 people).
- A moderate amount of walking is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes
- Please note that you will be asked a full refundable 10 euros deposit at the meeting point in order to ensure all the radios are given back to the guide or our staff. Once you return the radios you will be refunded your 10 euros. If you don't give back the radios you will be charged 30 euros for each of them.
- The entrance fee to the archaeological sites is 17 Euros for adults (23 Euros for the arena option), accompanied by a booking fee of 2 Euros. The additional amount covers services provided by experienced licensed guides, audio devices, booking fees and other tourist services. The aim is to promote transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown. In July and August, due to the heat, the duration of the tour is 2 hours. Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible. -Meeting time is subject to change; if this occurs, you will receive a call or message from the activity provider. please provide your correct phone number and country code. -ID mandatory. Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance. -The full names of all the participants in the booking is needed, incomplete information on the booking cannot be guaranteed entrance.
- In Summer time we suggest bringing a bottle of water. In summer time due to the heat the tour might last about 2 hours.
- Not allowed: Pets, weapons or sharp objects, oversized luggage, smoking, alcohol or drugs, sprays or aerosols, glassware, unaccompanied minors, electric wheelchairs

I'm giving this one star. My tour was booked two months in advance . One week before, Viator decided to change it to a later time which messed up another tour we were scheduled for. Then a few days before , they decided to change it again. The night before the tour they changed the time AGAIN !!!
We finally met up with the group and put name was not on the list.. 😡Never again will I book a tour with Viator.

I had an amazing tour of the Colosseum! Our guide was funny, informative, kind, and knowledgeable, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. Entering through a special gate for tour groups significantly shortened the wait time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Colosseum and learn from a local expert.

Nice tour. Not very well organized though. Did not keep us updated on reason for delay in getting started until after we were on our way. We were a smaller group of only 8 but were split up to join larger groups which made it difficult to follow.

This was an excellent tour. There are a ton of people there but our tour guide was very good and keeping us all together and seeing all the sites he was very knowledgeable and friendly in the Colosseum and Palentine were fascinating educational and very interesting.
