- Meet your guide at the office in Via del Colosseo nr 31, above the second floor of the Colosseum metro stop(blue line). Just around the corner from the Caffè Roma.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- There is moderate amount of walking involved.
- The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attractions administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
- Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue
- Please note that from August 6th, 2021, all public museums in Italy will require all visitors above the age of 12 years old to show a valid ID and certification proving that you have either: Been vaccinated with an approved vaccine (Pfizer-BioNtech, Astrazeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna) Been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48hrs; Recovered from COVID-19, attested by a PCR or antigen test result, at least 15 days and no more than six months old;
- The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Carmello from Sicily was the best tour guide! What a great tour guide and an awesome way to learn about the Roman Forum & Colleseum. This was a fun tour and the guide not only made it fun and interesting, he answered tons of questions, made everyone laugh, and took some amazing photos of us! He told us some good restaurants to have lunch at after the tour. I enjoyed learning about ancient Roman artifacts and what the times were like. The views and scenery is breathtaking.

Our coliseum tour was originally scheduled for the evening, but was rescheduled several times before we arrived in Rome and finally was no longer an evening tour.
We were rescheduled for 3pm and the underground portion was deleted from the package. We were offered no price reduction from the original $400 price tag.
The meeting point was on a street whose block had a different name from what was stated on the instructions and the business had a different name on the sign and no number on the building. We arrived late as a result.
We tried to reschedule but were denied. We asked for a refund. They refused.
Don’t deal with these people and whatever you do, don’t book through GUIDE. They are useless and complicated this process.

Beware of false advertising!! I booked tour with them for Underground colosseum ONLY because it said it included Palatine Hill. While on the tour I was made aware that we were not going there and I’d have to purchase another ticket on top of what I paid them if I wanted to go there on my own. The guide was wonderful and told me that was never part of the tour and a contact the guide company, get your guide who I booked with. I followed up with GetYourGuide, who then reached out to this tour company. The tour company lied and stated that we did go to Palatine Hill for 20 minutes. We did not do any of that and I could’ve done this for $34 instead of spending $129 on this tour. Now, I had to spend another $18 to go to Palatine Hill, which is the only place I wanted to go in the first place. While the tour was good, it was not what I was sold. Do not book with this company. I am not three times the amount that it would’ve cost me to do this on my own.

We booked through ‘Get your guide’ but the tour was run by ‘Italy with family’
The staff here were so helpful, we stupidly didn’t bring our photo ID to the tour even though it clearly said it was needed- he organiser was as helpful as possible, even trying to ‘slow down’ the start of the tour to give my husband chance to go back to our hotel for the ID. I was allowed to start the tour process and he managed to catch us up just before entry. It was completely our fault but they went out of their way to get us onto the tour.
The tour itself was brilliant, we did the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine hill tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history, without the tour we would have wandered around aimlessly and not understood the significance of certain parts.
I would definitely recommend’Italy with family’ as tour guides
