Enjoy your time in Rome and make the most of it by booking this Colosseum and Vatican combo experience. With your guide and the small group, you will access the Colosseum from the Gladiator’s gate and will enjoy the site helped by your headset. Our licensed guide will throw you back to the Gladiators and Roman Emperors time. After visiting the Colosseum you will have some free time to have lunch and get ready for the second part of the tour: after meeting the guide at 2 pm in front of the Vatican Museum entrance, you will visit the museums with your tickets (in the afternoon the museum is less crowded). In a small group tour, you will discover the museum and admire stunning masterpieces such as the Octagonal Courtyard and the Laocoon. Then, you will see the Sistine Chapel, admire "The Last Judgement" and "The Creation of the World" frescoes.

Viator advised us less than 2 days before the visit that it could not go on as planned. I had to insist that they fix this, as they were proposing to split this in 2 different days. But we were in Rome for 1 1/2 days! So they simply inverted the two sections, which should have been the preferred option from the get go.
Nonetheless, the Vatican visit was good, but the heavy accent of the guide made it difficult tu understand all. In the afternoon Colloseum tour, Renata made it very interesting with much details. Her English was impeccable.

Ambos tours fueron realmente excelentes. Los guías (Raul y Severus) muy bien preparados, simpáticos y amables; con muy buena predisposición y paciencia. Solo lamentamos que en el grupo del Coliseo haya habido personas irrespetuosas y desconsideradas, que no reconocieron el gran labor que realizaron los guías. Recomiendo hacer este tour, pero quizás en dos días separados para no cansarse tanto ya que hay que tener en cuenta que al finalizar el primer tour hay que ir rápidamente hacia el siguiente sitio para llegar a tiempo, tomando el metro.
