- The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time due to managing and organizational reasons.
- The activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational resons
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please note that for safety reasons the Colosseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
- For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.
- To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.
- Forbidden objects inside the Colosseum: bottles and glasses containers, alcholic beverages and aerosols, backpacks, camping, bulky bags and luggage / trolley.
- Can be introduced medium and small size backpacks to shoulder, which must be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by the Urbe Security Institute, responsible for the entrance inspection.
- Please notice that the Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund.
- No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The Colosseum Management does not distribute individual tickets. We will have one group ticket for the entire group. For this reason, we are not able to give tickets to late arrivals that missed the tour!
- All the refund requests must be done within and not later than 48 hours from the day of the tour
- The entrance timings to the Colosseum listed here are indicative and subject to availability per each time slot. If the chosen time is not available, we will book the next available time slot.
- We kindly inform you that any kind of disability (visual impairment, hearing impairment,... ) or anything that might prevent you to regularly join the tour, MUST BE communicate in advance to our staff.

This was the worst experience in our entire 2-week Italy trip. We of course booked in advance prior to arriving in Italy and booked for a 3-hour tour with this group on 7/5 starting at 9:30 AM. We got to the meeting location at 9:10 AM and we were initially confused since the actual meeting point is across the street (not the coffee place!).
We arrived to meet with the tour operators who then told us apparently this tour was rebooked for an earlier time BUT we never received any such notification. Add to the fact that we were already in Italy for 2 weeks at this point and this was the ONLY tour group that pulled this stunt on us. The tour operators on site were not very helpful so I immediately called Viator customer service and spoke to a rep (I believe her name was Arlene Joy) who was very receptive to our plight and indicated that we would receive a full refund in 24-48 hours. This of course did not happen and I received an update within only a few hours saying that our refund was denied.
What we decided to do was join a 9:30 AM group tour that was only seeing the Colosseum and was only 1 hour long as the tour operators on site were not helpful or offering us any other options. The tour itself was alright (Francis the tour guide was actually quite nice and knowledgeable) but we could not enjoy this tour due to the frustrations dealt our way.
In the end, we did not get the services we paid for and we even arrived on time (it noted in the instructions to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the tour).
I cannot stress how poorly this company is run and would advise everyone reading this to select another tour. I am only speaking of those managing this tour group and would like to exclude the actual tour guides.

We booked our tour Colosseum Roman Forum and Palatine Hill: our guide spoke english perfectly, knew a lot of details and was really funny. We spent about 3 hours on the tour (there is a lot of walking involved!) and it was by far the best tour we did in Italy. The office is easy to find and the staff was very nice and helpful.Thank you guys!

Our guide brought the place to life with her stories and was very sweet, always willing to answer any questions the group had. Worked out perfectly and was just what I was looking for, no waiting in lines and well worth the extra expense!
Rude Staff and Inability to Give Directions!

I will admit that we were not 20 minutes before the tour left but the tour had not left and we asked to join the group. Not only did they say no, they made us pay an additional $50 and then treated me like I was an idiot. I asked what the address was for the location for the following day of the Vatican tour. The girl says "L6" is the address. When I asked for something different than only "L6", she said "Don't you have a phone? Google? The Internet?". Then they proceeded to go outside and treat me like I could not understand English. It was a very humiliating experience and one that I would not recommend.
It was two young girls who were attending to the tour that day. We had spoken to a young man the day before and he seemed to be more professional. The two girls were the most demeaning people I have had to deal with in a long time.
In customer service, it is important that you give SERVICE! You do not EVER treat a client like they are not valued. Maybe this review will not impact your business but you should understand (you may be too young) that for every person you make angry, they tell 10 people. For every one person you please, they only tell one or two about the experience. Maybe you should do the math on the negative impact that your rude behavior toward paying clients.
