Cerveteri is famous for its Etruscan necropoli which are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The Necropoli della Banditaccia is an expansive area comprised of Etruscan funeral mounds that house one or more tombs within them. The tombs date from the 8th century BC to the 2nd century BC and are a tangible example of ancient burial practices.

A nice trip we did from Hu Fabulous village camping. Beautiful graves from Roman times. Impressive to see. Everywhere there are back nooks and crannies, something to discover everywhere.

Umwerfend ist diese Gräberanlagen aus verschiedenen historischen Epochen, sehr viele Grabstellen sind über Treppen gut zugänglich, die Beschriftung ist teilweise sehr gut, leider gibt es keinen passenden Flyer dazu an der Tageskasse
