It was a rip off. There is no such thing as “skip the line” and we paid $86 CAD for two tickets that were 13 euros each and there was no “escort”.

It was a feast of art, and it was worth the trip. The staff waited in front of the gallery on time and gave us a ticket without queuing. We entered the gallery very smoothly. Although the ticket is more expensive than the official one, it is worth it considering the classic status of the Borghese Gallery. Tickets for popular attractions in Italy are indeed very tight. If you can't buy official tickets, it is very important to have an extra choice.
