- If you choose AFTERNOON, the starting time will be at 4:30pm (according to tickets availability)

What a wonderful museum! The Borghese Gallery is unique for its history and we would have missed so much if we hadn't one with Ilaria from Joy of Rome. She clearly adores the Gallery and knows so much. She was the perfect guide and seeing the museum was such a treat. Timed entry is very important as they limit the number of visitors very strictly and you have to check all your purses (so I didn't take one). A must see!!

This was our third tour with Joy of Rome and second with Francesca. She has a gift for bringing the stories behind the artworks to life and sharing her enthusiasm. Highly recommended. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Rome and will certainly include another tour with Joy of Rome.

Francesca was extremely knowledgeable. She has great enthusiasm for the art, artists, the gallery and helping us learn. She answered our questions and welcomed them. It deepened my experience immensely. I am still thinking about the major pieces - one which made me cry.
While an art historian private guide may seem pricey, I would trade the cost for visiting another museum or two or a fancy dinner.
