Reviews for Big Bus Rome Hop-on Hop-off Open Top Tour
Good way BUT no stops in central Rome

Not noted that the bus doesn't do into the city centre so we missed out on some of the things we were looking to see. Otherwise it is good value to see most things.
Great option, but know where you're going in advance

This is a great way to get to the main points in Rome since the city is walkable but sites are very far from one another (you will get tired of walking the very long boulevards and turns even if you're fit, trust me). However, the locations of the stops were very hard to find, even when asking locals. I would recommend to prepare very well in advance beforehabd so you know where to wait for buses and the bus schedules.
Good value way of exploring Rome’s geography and key sights.

Frequent service in a comfortable bus with stops at many of Rome’s historic attractions. The audio guide worked well, in describing key events and their relevance to today’s physical environment.
Crowded, but doable…..

Great to have the headphones, etc. I rode the bus for 2 hours to hear the whole lecture. Then got off at the coliseum and walked. The bus stops were over crowded with people wanting to get on. I had read reviews so had planned to walk to sites I wanted to see and worked my way back to Roma Termini, my starting point. There were staff at each bus stop managing the crowd. Just be aware and enjoy Rome!
Easy and affordable
