Overview
A special tour that takes you to admire the most beautiful baroque churches of the various religious orders that were created at the end of the 16th century. Your official guide and art historian will show you the wonderful works, architecture and stylistic characteristics of the various orders. We will talk about Saints such as Sant'Ignatius from Loyola, San Filippo Neri, which were their inspiring principles in the works that we will see. Caravaggio, Rubens, Baciccia, Lanfranco,Pozzo and many other important artists worked in these churches, we will admire spectacular three-dimensional frescoes, scenic funeral monuments, great statues and altars. In the afernoon tour, in Jesus Church, we will attend the opening of S.Ignatius altar with music played , and visit his house . It will also be an opportunity to admire the beautiful squares and fountains of the historic center.
