Great tour, the guide was very informative. I learned so much about how the Colosseum worked back in the day when it was operating. It's really a marvel of ingenuity. Being able to see the underground and understanding the inner workings was fascinating to me. I highly recommend this tour, you get so much more than just seeing the outer or upper parts of the Colosseum.

Beware! This tour left us even though we were at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to start time. Our tour said 2 pm however they left at 1:45. After fighting to get on the tour thankfully a kind operator came back to get us and personally escort us to the entry. Rome is extremely busy and walking is faster that the bus/taxi transportation! Be early!! They won’t wait!

Unique and exclusive way to see the Colosseum (truly small group)

The tour was small and really informative. I'd been to the Colosseum before, so it was nice to get a different, and more exclusive perspective. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The only reason I didn't give the tour a 5 was because it was a bit challenging to find where to start and then to find our group out of the dozens of others meeting at the same place.
