3 Hours Private Golf Cart Tour – The Major Highlights In 3 Hours.

Our extended family of 12, ages 10-60’s had such a fun time with Marta and Cristina! They were knowledgeable about the city and the sites but also super fun! We customized our tour to end at the Colosseum but wished we had done a longer tour-not because it wasn’t enough, but Just because we were having such a good time. We loved being able to get on and off for a few minutes here and there to be able to see the sites. Driving around the alleyways was a blast. We appreciate that Marta and Cristina were flexible with us and we Would highly recommend these ladies and this tour to all! Thank you Marta and Cristina!

Mimmo was fabulous and the day was spectacular. All of Rome's highlights in 3 hours. Pamela was very helpful and professional in arranging the tour. Mimmo picked us up from our hotel and was able to tell us an amazing amount of Roman history. Highly recommended for any newbies to the city.

We mistakenly did a small group Vatican City tour with another company the day before and we were essentially left to fend for ourselves in the middle of nowhere just before dusk in the pouring rain. Our guide directed us to the nearest exit by the Basilica which was a couple of miles away from our original entry point. If we’d had only known how much fun, less strenuous and informative it would had been to do this private golf cart tour of all the major sites we’d have booked this first day of our Rome visit. Our guide, Marta, was welcoming, warm, down to earth and so very knowledgeable about all the ancient ruins we visited by cart. Marta zipped us up and down narrow side streets bypassing all the huge traffic jams around these popular sites allowing us to get out and explore the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Forum grounds on foot. We also visited the Spanish Steps, several churches, and the Coliseum in our covered golf cart while hundreds were outside drenched in a torrential downpour while waiting to get in. I’m sure we could’ve spent hours exploring the Coliseum in another private tour package but it sounds like most Coliseum tours cannot guarantee more than an hours visit inside and there really aren’t skip the line privileges available thru tour companies anymore. We took the Metro subway out to the Vatican City tour meeting point and had to fend off pickpockets and other scam artists throughout the entire trip. We ultimately caught a taxi back to our hotel so having a hotel pickup tour is so well worth the extra money. GPS on your smartphones are generally useless and frustrating as there are few if any street signs in the old parts of Rome and Google/Apple maps were not accurate whatsoever. Everyone who wasn’t a native was staring down at their phones around the ancient ruin sites trying to navigate themselves. You owe yourself the luxury of having a hotel pickup tour and fun golf cart tour to best catch all the big sites safely, it just makes so much more sense.

My husband and I took 2 of our adult daughters and one son in law on this tour. Mimmo was our guide and he was Fantastic! I can't believe he's only been a tour guide for 4 years, he seemed like your favorite history professor! He's funny, he's personable, he told a LOT of great stories, he kept us out of the crowds and took us to spots we never would have found on our own. 3 hours flew by.

As a prelude to our Mediterranean cruise, we decided to fly into Rome a day early. My wife and I had previously visited Rome but our traveling companions had not. The golf cart tour seemed like a good idea to give them a taste of the city. Our tour guide, Giulia, picked us up right on time at our hotel. From there we had the most amazing afternoon. Giulia took us to so many places in such a short time. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Even though we thought we knew Rome, we learned so many new things about the history and sites we were seeing. Aside from the main sites we wanted to see, she also took us to out of the way places we would never have thought to visit. Finally she was a great driver and navigated us easily around all the Rome traffic which allowed us to see so much in short time period. Overall a fantastic experience that I can highly recommend!
