Reviews for Madì B&b
Madi B&B was an excellent home base for our stay in Rome, it met all of our expectations.
Joan
Madi B&B is on floor 1 of the building. There is very small passenger elevator that can be used to bring luggage up. The kids loved riding the tiny elevator to one floor. My husband and I walked the two flight of stairs up. Mariangela was an excellent host, she welcomed us into the B&B and provided us with a map and recommendations for places to eat that was family friendly. We've been to Rome before but not with children. We easily kept in touch with Mariangela using Whatsapp during the day if we were looking for last minute recommendations in specific areas. The B&B was a short walk from the Cipro metro stop so we were able to easily get on a train and into the historical city center. Also, a short walk to the Vatican with many great gelato places along the way. The rooms were comfortable and clean with private bathrooms. There were many excellent places to eat within a few blocks and in the general neighborhood. We ate at Romane and have historically gone to Falcone but it is currently closed for renovations. Mariangela also recommended Bonci pizza which had delicious pizza that foodies from around the world waited in hour long lines to eat. You have to take a number and then wait, otherwise you don't get pizza. One night we decided to have a light dinner and got some cheese, prosciutto, bread and a couple slices of pizza and ate in the common space. During our stay, Madi B&B did not have breakfast specifically but provided us with vouchers for coffee and pastry from the bar downstairs. Which is the right way to do Italian breakfast anyway! She easily arranged for a driver to take us to the airport on our departure day. She was very understanding about traveling with children. Mariangela was also knowledgeable about best time to go to certain attractions and whether you need to book in advance. Good wifi connection.
A fantastic place to stay whilst in Rome, which enhanced our overall experience!

Located very close to the Metro, so we were able access to all Rome's sights very easily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use again!

Mariangela was extremely helpful and accommodating to the needs of my mum, who fell ill in Rome. The learning curve was steep as 'medical tourism' was not what we had initially signed up for but she helped us get up to speed with the set up in Rome/Vatican City. She was very caring - a beautiful and gracious host! The B&B is well located, within walking distances to many attractions and medical facilities.

Perfect location in Vaticano, near Cipro metro station, room very clean.
Such a pleasant stay!

Very pleasant stay. Arriving late Mariangela arranged for us to have easy access to the propety and even we got a very warm welcome. The room had private bathroom and was extremely clean. The location is perfect with easy access to the centre (either you want easy tube access or like walking). Mariangela was very carring and gave us tips everyday on where to go and gave us suggestions which we really appreciate! She even kept our luggage after check out so we could fully enjoy our last day. If I had to raise a point it would be the fact that Wall are paper so you hear everything hapening in the rooms around and above, but it might be part of the Roman experience ! We had an amazing stay and have already recommanded to the place to friends. Big thank you to our host!
Great location, recommended

This was the first time an accommodation looked exactly as advertised on booking.com. Sadly the A/C didn’t work, but Mariaangela provided a fan and as it wasn’t hot in the room (also not during the day) it was not a problem at all. The location of the B&B could not have been any better, being able to reach the Vatican within minutes by foot. Only slight point of criticism: Breakfast is not included, it costs around 3€ per person per night at the bar next door. However, in the provided community kitchen you could make your own breakfast (toast and coffee) without a problem. When you browse through the reviews on booking and on google maps, you quickly realize that Mariaangela cares about every review. And let me tell you, as much as she cares about your review, she cares about your well-being whilst you are there. In general we would like to thank Mariaangela for being such an exceptional host and providing great tips for secret spots around the city!
Excellent stay, lovely host

The facilities were good with access to a kitchen space with kettle, coffee machine, and microwave (we also had teas and coffees stocked in the room), hairdryer in the room, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with plenty of storage for all of our belongings. The host was really helpful and gave us some great tips for our visit to Rome and some great local knowledge.
