Overlooking one of the most picturesque squares in Trastevere, Hotel Domus Tiberina is next to of Rome's most ancient bell towers. A former noble town-house of the 18th century, it offers rustic rooms with air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi is available in communal areas and some rooms. Rooms at the Domus include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms come with exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, and some offer a balcony facing the Tiberina Island. Trastevere is famous for its pubs and restaurants offering typical Roman food. The Circus Maximus is is just across the river, and you can walk to the Coliseum in about 15 minutes. There are direct bus links to the Vatican and to Rome airports.

Room was big and funky. Had an outside balcony. Lorenzo on the desk is super helpful.Great tips on things to see that don’t make the major lists.Tips on using public transport.Can recommend Vego and Vegan places to go if that’s your need. He helped make my trip go from ok to wow!

In a perfect location in Trastevere within walking distance of most sites and near the tram stop and bus stop for buses to Termini etc The single room was quiet and comfortable with good AC. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. It’s a good stay for a solo traveler!

The room was located not far away from the city centre and Colloseum. It was reasonably clean. Bed was comfortable. Hot water in the shower. Very good water flow, which I really like. Hairdryer in the room. Complimentary coffee at the reception. The room was cleaned daily, and the beds made. Lots of clean towels provided. Quiet location. No noise from the outside.

This hotel is very well-situated in central Rome, a short walk to major points of interest like the Roman Forum as well as to bus stops. My room was clean and well-equipped.
