Hotel Diplomatic is located just around the corner from Castel Sant'Angelo and across the river from Rome's historic centre. Service is excellent here and the hotel has a terrace. The Spanish Steps are 10 minutes walk away from the Diplomatic Hotel, as is Saint Peter's Basilica. You will have great bus links. City bus tours start from outside the hotel. Rooms are spacious and air conditioned, with satellite TV and a minibar. Wi-Fi is free throughout.

Breakfast and location both excellent. Staff extremely helpful , pleasant and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the veranda to our room. Bed roomy and very comfortable. Good access to the city both by foot and by public transport. Very nice area with lots of very nice places to eat.

I liked the location. It was perfect, just over the river and out of the crazy congestion. The bus stop was right out side of the hotel entrance. No#70, went straight from Rome Termini to the hotel. 12 stops and cost 1.50 Euro. Front staff were friendly and efficient. The room was perfect for my needs and cleaned daily. Walk from the hotel to the Trevi fountain less than 20 minutes.
We were in a very central part of Rome amd could walk to everywhere within a half an hour or less to most sights.
