The rooms are equipped with basic, yet functional equipment. I particularly liked the spacious bathroom and the fact that the room was heated very well. The location is very calm and peaceful, the train station Ottavia being within easy walking distance (approx. 10 mins at leisurely walking speed). Staff was very friendly, helpful and cooperative - for instance, they granted my special request to check out a little early. Excellent value for money - would definitely stay again at this hotel!

The people -- from Check-In with Susan to meeting all the other staff members, including the owners. They are renovating and repurposing a former home of a religious order into an affordable and very comfortable hotel that is about a 20 minute train ride into St. Peter's and all that Rome has to offer. There are affordable and very good restaurants nearby and even though breakfast is simple, it is good!
