We were treated wonderful by the staff at Hotel Grifo! We felt very welcome! Wonderful breakfast and kind helpful staff. The hotel staff recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance that we ate at twice! We were within walking distance of many major attractions. Our room was comfortable, clean, with great air conditioning! We will be back!

The location was fantastic. It's in the Monti neighborhood which has a ton of restaurants and shops. It's right by the colosseum so there's good tourist shops as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

We were located across the street in the annex so do not know what the hotel rooms look like. Our room was large and comfortable. The receptionist Alan was very hospitable and helpful. He settled us in and gave us an orientation to the time/distance to the major sites and good restaurants around Grifo. The night staff were equally as helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay at the hotel. The staff at the reception are very nice: helped us with all questions, helped to buy tickets, and navigated us through the main attractions on the city map. Also, they gave recommendations on how to avoid tourist scams, suggested some nice restaurants with good Italian food.
The location is super. The hotel is in 10 minute walk to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palazzo di Venezia. Metro station is nearby. The views are crazy.
We loved the terrace from the room.

Hotel Grifo was close to the coliseum and Metro station Cavour a 5 min walk. There were several restaurants/ bars close by. The staff at the front desk made sure you feel welcomed and are super helpful you with any questions you have.
