The Fontana della Pigna or simply Pigna ("The Pine cone") is a former Roman fountain which now decorates a vast niche in the wall of the Vatican facing the Cortile della Pigna, located in Vatican City, in Rome, Italy.

Finally, you will leave the Basilica and you'll get to Saint Peter’s Square. From here you can see the chimney used to announce the election of a new pope, as well as Bernini’s famous statues. After a couple more anecdotes your guide will say goodbye, leaving you to explore the square at your leisure. A perfect end to a brilliant tour of the Vatican!
