Make your own way to the meeting point, by the entrance of the Vatican Museums, in time for a 9:15am start.

After the introductory talk, follow your guide on a tour of the renowned Vatican Museums, using your skip-the-line tickets to head straight inside. During the tour, take in highlights such as the Room of the Muses, the Candelabra Gallery, and the Gallery of the Tapestries; admire exquisite works by masters like Michelangelo and Rafael; and gaze out over the beautiful Vatican Gardens from the Gallery of the Maps.

End your visit marveling over the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s masterpiece, before skipping the queues to St. Peter’s Basilica and enjoying free time to tour the magnificent cathedral.

Your morning tour ends around 12:30pm, leaving you with free time for lunch (own expense) before your afternoon tour starts at 3pm.

Before setting out on your Segway tour, take part in a 30-minute training session, including time to practice both with your instructor and on your own. Then, set out on a 2-hour tour of Rome’s ancient ruins, equipped with a personal iPod offering information at each stop.

Glide past the Baths of Caracalla and Palatine Hill; hear about the chariot races that once took place in the Circus Maximus; and enjoy the views from the Orange Tree Garden. Stop to explore the ruins of the Roman Forum, look out over the city from Capitoline Hill, and pose for photos outside the famous Colosseum.
