Nemi is famous and has been recognized for the excellent quality of hospitality and stay of tourists. Walking through the streets of the city you can visit its small shops, taste the different liqueurs and buy typical local products such as jams, cakes, ham, spicy salami, bresaola, cheese and other curiosities of the local gastronomy. Ariccia is a very well-known and popular city in the area of the Roman castles, in the dialects of the castles it is called A 'Riccia. Its popularity is due to the high flow of tourists who visit the Chigiano complex every year along with works by Bernini and other religious monuments. His cuisine is very similar to the Roman one, but the most famous culinary product of the castles is the Porchetta, served together with other products and accompanied by a nice glass of white wine, typical of the areas where wine is produced in the castles. Porchetta is a typical elaborate dish, made up of a whole pig, emptied, boned and seasoned, ideal for snacks in the cellar, in the garden and at home.
