Hadrian’s villa was a 2nd century AD imperial complex of more than 30 buildings that served as a countryside retreat for Emperor Hadrian. The complex reflects the places that inspired him most and can be admired in the remains of beautiful mosaics, Greek sculptures, artificial lakes, and numerous architectural styles. During your visit at this archaeological site, you will discover stunning ruins of massive ancient palaces, baths, temples, library, theater, and other structures. Tickets for Hadrian’s Villa is currently 10 Euros per person to be bought on location - prices are subject to change or vary in conjunction with occasional exhibitions.

The verdant manicured gardens with dramatic water plays of jet fountains, cascades and water organs, rest on a grand terraced slope. Classical sculptures, grottoes and water organs impress visitors and delight their senses with sights, sounds, and scents in the true style of Italian Renaissance gardens that emerged in the late 15th century Stairways descend to lower terraces so you can explore this elegant symphony of verdant manicured gardens and elaborate fountains. Tickets for Villa d’Este are currently 10 Euros per person to be bought on location - prices are subject to change or vary in conjunction with exhibitions inside the villa.
