You will meet with your guide at the Borghese Gallery, renowned as one of Rome’s most stunning art galleries.  Your guide is extremely knowledgeable and as you stroll through the gallery will regale you with stories about the artists and their work, tell you about their particular techniques and reveal some secrets behind the paintings and sculptures.  Great masters like Caravaggio, Canova and Titian have artwork displayed here – a true feast for art lovers!  You'll also admire the incomparable collection of sculptures by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, including Apollo and Daphne, the Rape of Proserpine, and more. Once you have toured the gallery you then go outside to visit the Villa’s wonderful gardens that overlook the Piazza del Popolo.  The parkland is very quiet and has some magnificent monuments, fountains and a variety of plants life. You end this tour at the Pincian Terrace where spread before you is the magnificent panorama of Rome’s rooftops and plazas.
