What To Expect
Meet your guide in central Rome, close to Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona, and walk the short distance to the dessert shop where your cooking class will take place.
Under the guidance of a professional chef, uncover the secrets of two of Italy’s most famous desserts—tiramisu and gelato—and set to work creating your own from scratch. Learn how to select the freshest ingredients for a water-based fruit gelato, how to bake the classic savoiardi (lady finger) cookies, how to blend a smooth mascarpone cream, and how to prepare the tiramisu. During your class, enjoy tastings of gelato and learn how it is different from ice cream.
Finally, tuck into your delicious homemade treats. After your class ends, you are given the recipes to take home with you.
