Colosseum
The Colosseum, originally known as Amphitheatrum Flavium or simply as Amphitheatrum, is the largest amphitheater in the world, located in the center of the city of Rome.
The Roman Forum is the archaeological area between Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum and crossed by the Via dei Fori Imperiali; continuing uninterruptedly on the Palatine and on the Capitoline Hill, together with the area of the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, it constitutes the largest and most important archaeological complex in the world.
At 40 meters high on the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill is the most central of the seven hills of Rome and is also one of the oldest areas of the city.
Mount Palatino is the cradle of the capital and it is assumed that the area was inhabited since 1000 BC
The Vatican Museums are located in Viale Vaticano in Rome, within the Vatican City State. Founded by Pope Julius II in the 16th century [1], they occupy a large part of the vast Belvedere courtyard and are one of the largest art collections in the world, as they exhibit the enormous collection of works of art accumulated over the centuries by Papi: the Sistine Chapel and the papal apartments frescoed by Michelangelo and Raphael are part of the works that visitors can admire in their journey.
