A walking tour to discover the ancient district of Trastevere. This neighborhood is still considered today one of the authentical original areas of Rome. It became famous for food and wine and today it is a perfect place to understand the development of the city especially in the Middle Ages. Here, in fact, we will visit many important Churches created in those times with incredible decorations and mosaics. An incredible XVI century Villa that will give you the opportunity to admire the incredible work of one of the best artists of the Renaissance: Raphael. With his school of painters he decorated the Villa of a banker, Agostino Chigi, that decided to build a sumptuous Villa, by the river. We will understand the propaganda decoration and the life of artists and noble man of that time.
