Great guide, he was fabulous energy and knew his stuff. Fascinating sites!
The only thing I would change, is part of the catacombs- the guide for this part wore a face mask due to the dust. perhaps it would be worth while having some disposable masks for the attendees. In addition, part of going on a tour like this (personal preference here!) is to see the bones etc.. and there where a pile of femur bones in one corner, every other section emptied and moved to the second floor. Perhaps a sample of remains could be moved back up to floor 1, put in protective case? Just to make it that bit more interesting!

This tour was one of the highlights of our entire 2-week trip to Italy! I booked it for my husband as he is a big fan of the macabre, but it ended up being a lot more informative and mesmerizing than we expected. Our guide Gabriel, as well as Sister Helen at the catacombs, was phenomenal and really made the experience special. We were not able to take any photos in the Capuchin crypts, associated museum, or the Catacombs, but trust me when I say that they are uniquely beautiful and worth a visit!

Very detailed and in depth. *No photos allowed* is something to consider. Also, this trip runs long, we didn’t get back to the drop off point until 21:30, so something to plan for if you’re making reservations or have a tight schedule.
Group size was good, guide was very enthusiastic.
