Overview
Throughout this tour we will retrace the life of Julius Caesar: who he was , where did he come from and what did he want to become? We will talk about his secret loves and how they helped him to become a legend. We will talk about the hero, the genius but also the man who was.
The itinerary develops from the Palatine Hill down the Roman forum, passing by the most important places that signed the last day of life of Caesar. We will analyze step by step what happened that day of the Ides of March 44 BC.

With your guide you will retrace the route covered by Caesar that 15th of March: starting from his house, the Domus Publica in Roman Forum, to largo Argentina where he was assassinated
This was the Senate house, that during the Ides of March was under restoration, by the will of Caesar and replaced by the secondary Senat close to Pompey theatre
The Caesar Forum was the first of Imperial Forum to be erected, with the aim to extend the area of former Roman Forum, but at the same time to celebrate the glory of Julius Caesar
This was a sacred area including 4 temples dated back to Republican era. Behind stood the Pompey theatre, temporarily used by Senators for their meeting in the place of official Senate House (Curia Julia) under restoration, Here the guide will show you the right place where it is supposed Caesar was stabbed.
