Amazing gardens

This was well worth the 3 euro train trip from Rome in a very clean train which took approx an hour.
You had to walk through the shopping area to get there. Which was lovely in its self.
The gardens were fantastic, with lots of beautiful fountains. There are a lot of steps as gardens are on different levels, but well worth it. The villa has beautiful rooms with fantastic decorated walls and ceilings. This is a must if you are spending longer in Rome, or seen all the major tourist sites.

The Villa d'Este and Gardens were stunning. The administrator of Tours of Rome was excellent. He contacted us before and after we got to Rome and arranged a hotel pickup because we were a large group. Our tour guide, Jaber, was the best. He was informative, patient and flexible. I met my cousins there and he made it easy for us to talk while giving us all the information we needed. I will definitely use this company again.
