Horrible booking service

We made the booking, then asked to change the date for the booking, received an email confirmation from Viator confirming the change and a charge for the change. Then after we were already on our way for the new time, received an email saying the booking would be changed back to the original date with no explanation. We of course didn't see this email, never got our tour and all efforts to rectify the situation wirb Viator have been fruitless.

This was the second tour we did with Marco (Vatican being the first) and it was great too! Again, Marco took the time to sit us down and walk us through the history of everything we were seeing and his passion for the site was infectious! Incredible ability to put the historical sites we are seeing in context with the time that they were in existence and relate it to the world we live in today. A wonderful guide and someone we will definitely call again when we bring our kids back to Rome!

Highly recommend this amazing private tour with Marco. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the information. He also brought an IPAD with many different visuals to give context and perspective to all that we were seeing. All-around awesome experience for us because of Marco's thorough and detail-oriented tour.
Only negative was that we specifically wanted a private tour which we got but the booking agency put our tour into one entrance ticket with another group of 8 people so we had to wait with them for their guide to arrive to gain entrance to the Colosseum and then coordinate meeting up with them again and waiting to gain entrance to the Forum and Palantine Hill part of the tour. That did not seem very fair to us as we paid for the private tour and we (and Marco!) should not have had to deal with the booking company's very inconvenient logistical ticketing process.
