We thought we bought tickets for entry into the Borghese, but when we got there it turned out that we'd purchased tickets for this tour. At first, we thought this was going to be boring and we were a little dismayed. As it turned out, the tour was fantastic and we're very happy that we made that little "mistake". The museum itself is incredible, with incomparable paintings, sculptures, and mosaics everywhere you look. Alessandra was our tour guide and she did an excellent job of explaining the history of the different artworks and the people and events behind them. She clearly has a passion for this art as well as deep knowledge of it (there wasn't a question asked that she couldn't answer). We greatly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it. Amazing tour of Galleria Borghese

This past February I brought my friend to Rome for the first time. I wanted to show them some of my favorite places and Galleria Borghese is at the top of that list. I feared that I wouldn't be able to share the history of such a beautiful place to them so I turned to the professionals, we booked a guided tour with doooing it and I couldn't be happier! The entire process from booking to meetup and the tour was great! The staff was so polite and they really made me feel like they wanted this to be the best trip I'd ever been on.
Out guide Emanuela was so knowledgeable, I had read a few books on the history of the gallery but she was sharing so many things I hadn't learned and the entire tour was incredibly fun! My friend said it was the best thing on the trip and we're planning another visit next year, I think we will try and do the Sistine Chapel.
