Tourists beware, last minute tickets limited to 2, apart from an Italian man allowed 4!

Tourists beware. Last minute tickets limited to 13. We were in the queue and asked those in front how many buying. One Italian man 4 (only 2 allowed allegedly)
Anyway we were to be number 11 and 12, yippee! We queue for 55 mins.
The queue people knew and it was clear the 3 others joined the Italian man.
Then were told only 1 ticket, there was 2 of us! Not allowed in!
Rubbish. Beware. Asked to speak with the manager, he did nothing

The gallery is amazing with stunning paintings and breathtaking statues. Rome is unimaginable without Villa Borghese.
Visiting the Borghese Gallery

The Borghese Gallery is incredible. The paintings, murals and sculptures etc. are all amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, though the upper floor was closed off from visitors for refurbishing. Thus we only got to see the one floor of works. That was the only disappointing aspect of our visit.

The send ticket did not work. Try to contact viator they said for some reason the ticket was delayed which I was not informed about. Send me back to the tour organiser but I can not get proper comunication from them. They say they cannot refund my ticket even though I was not able to actually use it. Would not recommend

The actual gallery was amazing when we finally got in!!! Dreadful confusion regarding ticket collection!!! No ticket provided only a voucher … which the gallery would not accept
I spent over 30 minutes on the phone (extremely expensive!!!) only to be told the whole voucher was cancelled!
I was very upset and the manager of the gallery was absolutely amazing!!!!
I cannot fault the gallery it was stunning - but Viator through trip advisor was abysmal!!! I have seen many reviews similar to mine - this MUST be rectified!!!
