Highlights of the tour:
On this tour, you will experience "Santa Maria Maggiore", which contains one of the four Holy Doors.
Then we will reveal the hidden basilica "Santa Prasede" and its secrets.
Followed by "San Pietro in Vincoli" where you will see the statue of Moses by Michelangelo and the miraculous chains of St. Peter.
Then we will visit two of the oldest churches in the city:
"Santi Quattro Coronati" with the legend of Pope Sylvester
"San Clemente", dedicated to the fourth Pope "Clemens I"
The tour culminates in a visit to the arch-basilica of "San Giovanni in Laterano", which contains another of the four Holy Doors.

Our tour guide Roberto was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable . Great way to enhance your faith. We have been to the Vatican, but getting to see some of the relics that are specifically linked to Jesus and his life brought enlightenment. Getting to climb the Scala Sancta on our knees is a pilgrimage we would gladly do again.

Dare I say we enjoyed this tour on our second day in Rome even more than our trip to the Vatican?! The weather on the morning of our tour was gray, cool, and rainy but it could not dampen our enjoyment of this amazing tour. Roberto was an amazing guide, full of insight and information. His reverence and love for the subject matter was evident. This was more of an experience of time travel through fascinating moments of history than a tour. Roberto designed this tour so beautifully as it weaves a story through the incredible churches that are visited. I don't want to give away too many details, I want you to discover the surprises for yourself! A must for Catholics and anyone interested in Church history. A lot of ground is covered so be prepared for much walking and some stairs. And the best way to end our afternoon was a stop for lunch at an AMAZING, authentic, local cafe nearby that Roberto recommended. My family agrees that this was our favorite day in Rome.

Excellent tour from Roberto. He has a brilliant storytelling ability and has a knack of taking you to the most interesting and important parts of every church visited, with detailed explanations of their significance. The tour shows you the sights of Rome rarely seen - I’m so glad we went, and the small group size enhances the experience dramatically. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Roberto was spectacular. His knowledge of the history, religious themes, art and architecture was unparalleled. He skillfully wove together historical threads that linked all of the sites we visited. The churches were magnificent. The major basilicas are a must see for any visitor to Rome. I would highly recommend this experience.
