"It all started ok with prior to checking in. Good communication with details on how to get in. There was a problem with my original room and they put us in a different room. Fine. Not the room we excepted but it was a room that we just needed to lay our heads. We arrived around 1:30pm and once in the room we noticed it was really and the AC wasn�t working I called Simona right away and let her know about it because it was really hot in the room. She really didn�t know what to say but we had a scheduled tow that we had to be at. Later that evening when we finally got back I would have thought that she would have looked into and had the AC going and once we turned the power on that it will work but she didn�t. I called her again at 9:22pm and no one answered. Called again at 9:38pm. Again we go through the process of trying to get the AC going. She asked me to send her a picture of the what it said on the AC unit. From there she stopped communicating with us completely! This was so unacceptable and unprofessional! My husband was looking around the AC and noticed that there was a plug that wasn�t plugged in. I sent her another message if this should be plugged in. Again no response! After another half hour I told my husband to plug it in. The AC started but the air was not coming out cold nor could you adjust the temperature on it. We have been traveling since 5:30am that morning and all we wanted was to come to a place lay ours heads and sleep comfortably. But no! It was a sleepless night in a hot room. This is the reason for the negative review. I have stayed in many places and I have to say that as a host Simona just did not care. Called her, texted her and emailed her and still til theirs moment no response whatsoever. Also know that this is a place were there many rooms that are kind of connected so it�s a little weird. Also there is no view of the Vatican as stated. It is a short walk though. The only thing that I recommend is the restaurant right outside the"

"This was my fifth time to Rome and I have stayed in different areas and hotels, I felt at home with the warm welcome Marco gave us and although your not quite in the very heart of the city you will appreciate the quite area that you have picked also it doesn�t take long to walk all around the city but there is a metro station close by if you need one. The room was very clean and had more than enough room for us, the bathroom was a good size and had a good size wardrobe, the breakfast was tasty and started the day off well"

"The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included which is great. We did pay an extra $5 and upgraded our breakfast. Sweet Stay is in a great location with about a 10min walk to the Vatican. You are also surrounded by restaurants and mini marts. Would definitely say again."
