"Hotel Casa Valdese is located in a quiet street next to the Lempano metro station, only 5-15 minutes drive from the main attractions. Even during the Easter holidays it was quiet outside when Rome was packed. The hotel has a pretty good breakfast, suitable for Europeans. There are cereals and milk, boiled eggs, ham and various breads, yoghurts, coffee and tea. We got a spacious room with a comfortable bed. There are some flaws in the room, but for us they were minor. You can hear some sounds behind the door. The staff didn't speak English very well, but they tried to help us anyway. We really enjoyed."

"Clase to centre and just a doorstep from Vatican. Room was big enough and clean. Breakfast was little poor (some fresh vegetables missing to have with bread in the morning ), but also sufficient for not fussy eaters :-) We would definitely choose again for my next visit."

"The rooms are spacious and clean. The air conditioning works perfectly. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, always willing to help. It is very close to the subway station. My only suggestion is regarding breakfast: it starts at 7:30 am and should start at 7 am or earlier. It would also be good to include a toaster to heat up the bread for breakfast."

"Very clean & nice place, also let's you store luggage. 10 minute walk to the Vatican, also many restaurants in the area. Office open 7:00 til midnight, but early departures (pre 7:00) require a key you must get from the office the night before."

"Lovely little hotel. A bit far out from a lot of the main attractions, but well served by being right next to the Metro. Heritage-like building, so no electronic locks or anything - a big heavy key you need to use on both sides of the door to lock and unlock it, and leave it with reception whenever you go out. Nice breakfast but no restaurant, you'll have to go for a walk to find other meals, not a ton of meal options nearby, but enough, and quite nice."
