"We stayed for 2 nights and found it excellent for our needs. We were able to take the city bus very close to the hotel from the train station the day we arrived and the airport shuttle bus from the hotel the airport the day we left. The breakfast was good with excellent espresso and a selection of hot and cold food. We walked to the Vatican City and Sistine chapel easily and enjoyed the views of a nearby fortress. "

The staff helped me find our shuttle bus location a few blocks away. Such a close walk to so many sights. The rooms are so cute and very, very clean. I have nothing negative to say at all! "The Domus Carmelitana Guest House is a wonderful place to stay in Rome. The location is perfect: walking distance to the Vatican Museums in one direction and the Hadrian Mausoleum/Castel St. Angelo in the other. The staff (especially Chiarra) were pleasant and kind, spoke English perfectly, and met all our needs for early breakfasts and taxis. The breakfast at the hotel is fabulous. The roof-top garden area is perfect for evening wine with friends or by yourselves. This is one of the best bargains in Rome and we recommend it highly. "
